Keysight Technologies Introduces Test Solutions for Electric Vehicle Charging and Grid Edge Applications

Beijing, China, March 5, 2021 – Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) today announced the SL1200A series of Scienlab regenerative three-phase AC simulators. This is a comprehensive single-vendor solution that includes hardware, software, consulting and support services for electric vehicle (EV) and electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) charging applications as well as grid edge applications. The energy infrastructure is currently undergoing dramatic changes, especially in the automotive industry, where vehicle electrification is expected to create huge charging demands on the grid, while vehicle-to-grid (V2G) power applications will create new energy storage business opportunities. The Keysight SL1200A Series can handle three-phase AC tests from 30 kVA to 630 kVA and AC voltage (VAC) up to 1200 V without the use of a transformer. This series has two voltage ranges. 600 VAC is suitable for low voltage inverter testing and EV and EVSE charging testing applications. 1200 VAC is suitable for high voltage ride through (HVRT) testing without the need for a bulky, complex test system.
